Le Marais

Hand-sourced in Le Marais, this  RARE Biche de Bère collar immediately caught my eye for its Egyptian-inspired symbols and beautifully aged patina. It has been carefully cleaned while preserving the character that only time can create.

I wanted to give it a dramatic statement drop, so I repurposed one half of an unusual vintage belt buckle found in Sans. The buckle features a geometric mosaic embellished with minute glass microbeads in ochre, green, blue and amber tones, with areas naturally worn away over time.

The result feels collected rather than created all at once—two distinctly French vintage finds, reimagined into one singular piece.
